The unique approach of Astare to mental healthcare is all about unleashing the potential in people. Their unwavering attention and patience have influenced the mental healthcare system holistically through their employment agency and academy. By rebranding Astare’s identity and website, we were tasked with capturing their cultural approach and organic aesthetic in design.

Astare’s identity design has had a big influence on both their cultural appeal and commercial activity. Because their vision is so outspoken, consistent, and poetic, finding the right design to translate this into visuals has amplified their message. The effect is felt in the attraction that Astare has for freelancers, partners, clients, and potential employees, who all want to take part in this ecosystem as well. This has allowed Astare to forge ahead, creating several branches of its business along the way.

The value we added

The design — To steer the design in a wholesome direction, the awe-invoking image of a flock of birds against a setting sun became pivotal. This soft, dynamic, yet powerful image formed the basis for bespoke branded illustrations and a minutely crafted dotted style. The colors also have an organic origin: a deep kurkuma color, himalaya salt pink, sage green, and ocean blue combine together on a background of ivory greys.

The strategy — To capture the ideology and mental healthcare vision that Astare fervently upholds, we needed a strong visual concept. Through the metaphor of a flock of birds, we were able to both represent the holistic idea that underlies everything they do, and reflect the organic aesthetic that Astare poetically identifies with.

In Studio Kartel we’ve found a partner that progresses along with us as we grow. We are really happy with the tight communication lines, and the creative result of their services, which is visible in pretty much all our communication and branding.
