Amsterdam is known for being one of the world’s hottest electronic dance melting pots. In this jungle of a metropolis, Chasing the Hihat has earned its reputation as a festival organizer, and since spread their unique taste far and wide. Uplifting, creative to the core, and all about the people. As one of their trusted design partners, we were more than happy to create their brand identity.
Chasing the Hihat has steadily grown through the years, with more and more matured and distinguished productions. Having a website that showcases this portfolio helps establish their status as a formidable brand within a highly competitive music entertainment scene. The branding has always stayed true to their origins, even preserving the logo, which helps in solidifying the founding roots and the team’s internal cohesion.
The value we added
The design — To capture the organizational skill of the Chasing crew and the diversity of their festivals, we used building blocks of circles and squares in black and white, that can form endless compositions. To then translate the brand’s promise of ‘events on every level, big or small’, we multiplied those compositions in ever-expanding scale.
